Get Prepared
Good little Roamies do their homework and arrive ready to party.
Locally referred to as "18 Road", the 18 Road Trail system sits amongst hundreds of miles of BLM land - including the primitive North Fruita Desert camping loops G-H & the 18 Road Staging Area, our festival venue.
Come prepared, after a 20+ minute drive (the last 4 miles will be quite slow & bumpy) you'll arrive at our primitive party site.
Plan to enter our venue from the South entrance (you'll make a right turn about a mile before the 18 Road trailhead parking lot).
Roam Fest is held at 18 Road Staging Area in the North Fruita Desert.
Location & Directions
Camping is FREE (you need a pass) & PRIMITIVE (i.e. get feral with us)

5 Steps For Successfully Camping at Roam Fest
-
Get the appropriate free camping Add-On from our ticketing site
-
Read the Camping FAQs and pack like the self-reliant babe that you are (see packing list)
-
Camp spots are first come first serve and we are sharing sites (arrive with your entire group if you want to camp together!) Follow our Camp Crew's directions: they are camping Tetris experts and will have a pretty exact orientation for you to snuggle into.
-
Plan on being nice and quiet from 10pm-7am
-
Thanks in advance for putting your trash and recycling in the appropriate receptacles (hint: NEVER a toilet)
Festival camping is for festival pass holders only. Camping with other friends, family, pets, in a large RV/trailer, or simply don't want to cram into our rugged village? Book your own BLM campground site in loops A-D, and ride over to the festival on singletrack!

Real bed or bust? No worries, Fruita is nearby.
