GENERAL FESTIVAL DETAILS
Q: Is it weird if I come to the festival solo?
A: Hell no! About 1/3 of our participants arrive solo...it won't take long to make new friends!
Q: Will there be on-the-bike skills clinics?
A: Noooope! We are here to shred! There are dozens of off-the-bike educational workshops throughout the weekend for post-ride nerding out. To be very clear: there will be NO skills clinics or coaching Friday-Sunday at the festival.
Q: Is this festival beginner/novice friendly?
While our festivals are not first-timer-friendly, we welcome riders with novice and advanced-beginner skills to Brevard. Our activities are intended for those with a season or more of riding under their belts.
Our Sedona festival is not intended for beginner or newer riders (due in large part to the lack of beginner-friendly trails). We recommend Sedona participants be at least intermediate riders to fully enjoy the technical trails.
Q: I'm an expert level rider, real talk - is this festival for me?
A: Jill Kintner, Vaea Verbeeck, Leigh Donovan, Kelli Emmett, and Olympian Chloe Woodruff think the festival is pretty effin' rad. We stand by our policy of "does not suck" for advanced riders, including those who have the skills to pay the bills.
Q: How old/young do I have to be to participate?
Due to alcohol permitting, you must be 21 to attend. Under 21? Contact us. Our attendee age breakdown is typically as follows: 21-29: 20%, 30-39: 28%, 40-49: 22% 50-59: 25%, 60+ 5%
Q: How many women come to the festival?
A: 300+ ladies from all over the country, Canada, and beyond!
Q: Can my super adorable fur baby Fluffy come to the festival?
A: Due to the insanity that would ensue if 350 women showed up with their 647 dogs...we ask that you leave Fluffy at home.
Q: Can my husband/boyfriend/totally platonic man-friend come?
A: Hard no. Roam Fest is a womxn's-only bike festival. We can't go catching any cooties (we've neutralized the handful of guys working at the festival for their respective bike companies).
Q: I'm a dude, can I just come demo a bike?
A: Thanks for asking, but no. Feel free to check out our bike partner's demo schedules for other nearby demo opportunities. Local bike shops have great high-end rental fleets.
Q: Are WTF/Womxn invited?
A: Absolutely! Anyone who identifies as female and is over the age of 21 is welcome to join us!
Q: What if it rains?
A: The festival will go on as scheduled. As proponents of good stewardship, we may change ride and shuttle offerings if trails are deemed unridable. Regardless, there will be tons of fun to be had onsite at our expo area!
FESTIVAL PASS DETAILS
Q: What is a VIP Demo Pass?
A: VIP Demo passholders get early access to bikes Friday, and reservations for a bike of their choice on Saturday and Sunday. These passes are limited and we will sell out quickly.
Q: I just want to demo, is there a discounted pass to only demo bikes?
A: And miss the dance party? Are you crazy?! We're committed to this lady shred fest being a sun-up to sun-down extravaganza; trust us that the regular festival pass is the best thing you'll ever invest in.
Q: Im bringing my own bike, is there a discounted pass for BYOB?
A: The festival pass price does not change - even if you don't demo, there will be activities, food, workshops, shuttles & rides galore to get all the bang for your buck.
Q: I can only come 1 or 2 days, is there a discounted pass if I don't come for the entire festival?
A: Girl, get that time off work! The festival pass price does not change based on arrival or departure day/time. Don't worry if you can't be there the whole time, every moment of Roam Fest has a. bundle of epic rolled into it. For the record, our most consistent feedback is that ladies wished they had attended from the moment our doors opened until they closed.

Q: Can I get more details on camping and the REI Campout Pass?
Your $49 campout pass includes 4 nights of self-supported camping.
Check-in at 4PM Thursday and check-out at 11AM Monday. Price does not change if you arrive late or leave early.
Camping is onsite and can accommodate vans, trailers, RV & car camping.
Portable toilets, hand wash stations potable water & fire pits available. No showers - bring baby wipes!
Campsite is a short 10 minute drive from the festival. Shuttles to/from campsite provided starting Friday morning thru Sunday afternoon. Shuttle does not return midday.
Parking is extremely limited. Parking passes are $49 and required for vehicles.
Drop toilets, fire pits, picnic tables, & potable water onsite. No showers - bring baby wipes!
REI will be on hand with camp snacks, campfire kumbaya, and COFFEE!
Q: Can I stay in a room onsite? Where should I stay?
A: All onsite accommodations for both festivals are fully booked for staff. There are plenty of Airbnb's, VRBO's, and hotels nearby, double check the proximity to festival before booking! We recommend staying in Brevard for the Brevard festival and the Village of Oak Creek for Sedona.
Q: Can I share a ride or housing?
A: We will be sending out a Ride Share and Housing Share doc to festival pass holders.
Q: Where should I fly into? How do I get to the festival?
A Brevard: Fly into: AVL (Asheville 45min to festival), GSP (Greenville SC 1:15hrs to festival), or CLT (Charlotte NC 2:00hrs to festival) - we highly recommend renting a car as shuttles and Lyft are unreliable to get to/from REEB Ranch.
A Sedona: Fly into PHX (2 hours to festival, try to miss RUSH HOUR arrival times) - we recommend taking a shuttle with Groome directly to the Red Agave. Unless you have a cheaper direct flight, we DO NOT recommend flying into Flagstaff.
Q: Will there be food at the festival?
Ride hydration and nutrition is provided
Dinner will be served Saturday night & is included in your festival pass.
Brevard: The festival location does not have services nearby; we will have lunch and dinner available onsite.
Friday: lunch and dinner for purchase.
Saturday: light second-breakfast snacks, lunch for purchase, dinner is free!
Sunday: light second-breakfast snacks, lunch for purchase
Sedona: Restaurants, coffee, & a great local grocery store are within a 1/2 mile of the festival. A food truck will be onsite Friday & Saturday

Q: I don't eat the animals, food options for me?
A: Friday and Saturday dinner will have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-freedom & dairy-free options. Most of those options should be accommodatable for lunch.
RIDES, DEMOS, & SHUTTLES
Q: What do I need to demo (test ride)?
A: A helmet, appropriate shoes, a credit card and ID (to make sure you bring the bike back), and a festival pass.
Q: How long are demo rides?
A: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF COOKIES DO NOT KEEP YOUR DEMO BIKE ALL DAY! We have a serious issue with festival goers keeping bikes all day...that would be a rental ladies. Demo bikes are meant to be taken out for a 2-3 hour ride and brought back so your friends can try them. If everyone takes a morning demo and brings it back midday, 150 more people can try bikes!
Q: Where should I ride?
A: A detailed series of ride routes will be available closer to. the festival. Keep your eyes peeled!
Q: Can anyone join a group ride?
A: Festival pass holders are encouraged to sign up for group rides appropriate for their skill and fitness level. Expert-Only, Intermediate, and Chill rides will be available. No absolute beginners. Max group size is 8 riders. If your friend is slower than you, please don't throw her to the wolves with an advanced ride.
Q: I'm not bringing my own bike, can you guarantee a demo bike?
A: We have TONS of demo bikes and highly encourage participants to plan to demo. We cannot promise a bike will be available in your size. If you want to ensure you get a shred sled, sign up for our VIP Demo Pass (limited quantity) to enjoy early demo, a VIP shuttle, and reserve bikes in advance.

Q: How do I get on a shuttle?
A: Shuttles to the trail are free for festival goers and will run from 9AM-1PM. Some shuttles are reserved for group rides, but we'll have plenty of room for those of you that just want a lift to the trail. Sedona will have special shuttles to and from our campgrou
WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
Q: Can I attend any workshop? Do I need to bring anything?
A: If you have a festival pass, you can join, just bring yourself! Workshops, presentations, and event details can be found on our schedule.
Q: What is the Happiest Hour?
A: A crazy fun hour of free dranks, snacks, and games provided by our expo vendors. Non-alcoholic drinks available.
Q: Is the film screening really outside at night?
A: We're mountain bikers. Which scientifically means we are stronger and more resistant to the elements than normal humans. Dress warm. Bring a puffy. Have a blanket with you...and maybe some Fireball. In Sedona we will have outdoor heaters.
Q: What is a SHREDTalk?
A: The most inspiring hour of your life. AKA a panel discussion with industry legends, game changers, influencers, and inspiration-smiths.
Q: Should I really bring a costume for the dance party?
A: Shhyaaaah! Even better if it is home made!
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: TRANSFERS & DEFERMENTS
Up to 7 days prior to the festival: A registered pass holder can transfer their ticket to another lady rider.
30 days from festival start date: A registered pass holder can defer the cost of a pass to a future Roam Event
Up to one month before festival start date: full refund, less $25 administration fee.
30 or fewer days before festival, or "no show": no refund.
We understand illness, injury, or family emergencies do happen. While we’ll always want to help, please be ready for the above policies to still apply.
Once you purchase a festival pass, you will receive an order confirmation email from Eventbrite on behalf of Roam Fest organizer Roam Events. Your e-ticket(s) will be attached to your order confirmation email. You do not need to print your ticket out - we will have a registration list at the event.
