Role Summary
As a Digital Marketing Creative at Roam, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing our digital marketing and social media strategy. Reporting directly to the Brand Director and collaborating with our Core Team, you'll lead the charge in curating high-quality, on-brand content, including graphics, videos, written communications and other multimedia assets.
A successful candidate will grow our presence, fostering community engagement, and driving brand awareness across social platforms, earned media, and email.
Innovative storytelling, ability to effectively employ our brand voice, outstanding & timely organizational skills, and a proactive mindset are essential for this position.
Job Description

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with Roam’s objectives and brand vision.

Using brand guidelines, take the lead in ensuring all assets are created with consistency across touchpoints

Manage timelines for all content creation, digital projects and keep brand team up to date weekly on progress and next steps

Manage, execute, and track all partner-related marketing deliverables

Work with Brand Director to measure and report the return on investments (ROIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) of implemented strategies

Social Media (Instagram, potentially others)

Create and curate timely social media marketing campaigns with content tailored to goals, deliverables, and target audiences

Use provided images, videos, links, & collaborations to create posts, stories, and reels with thoughtfully written, error-free captions

Monitor and respond appropriately to comments & messages across social media channels, fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.

Influencers & Collaborations
-
Explore, contract, and manage influencers & collaborators to work with throughout the year, for specific campaigns, and onsite at events.

Contract & manage influencers & collaborations to ensure creation of brand-aligned content, post at an agreed time, and attend to generated engagement (comments, shares, DMs etc.)

Measure and report effectiveness of influencers and collaborations in growing brand awareness, conversions, and general ROI.

Earned Media
-
Manage and leverage earned media opportunities from magazines, podcasts, blogs, and publications that align with brand strategy.

Vet earned media requests: coordinate interviews with Roam Staff, act as primary point of contact for asset deliverables/contracts & interview follow up.

Email Marketing (Wix Marketing Platform)
-
Create and execute an annual newsletter campaign providing valuable content, key event details, partnership deliverables, and collaborations.

Website (Wix Studio Editor)
-
Help optimize the user experience on the company's website including monitoring site traffic for functional content, navigation, and conversions.

Edit/update website content to reflect current event information, offerings, and partner deliverables.

Requirements
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital marketing/media
-
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Possess a keen multidisciplinary understanding of brand and marketing strategies, including the tools required to implement planned campaigns

Ability to own and optimize Instagram and social accounts management
-
Ability to schedule, manage, and implement a digital marketing calendar
-
Proficiency working in and with Google Workspace (sheets, docs, calendar)

Engaged (camera on) attendance at Core Staff meetings Tuesday 9am-11am MST
Bonus - Does This Also Sound Like You? Nice but not required skills:

Understanding of Adobe Suite products (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

We have resources for training to use these programs, but extra helpful if you have a basic understanding of graphic design and aesthetics as applied to marketing

Increase visibility, engagement, and a strong sense of community across all social media channels, driving brand awareness, audience growth, and advocacy

Deliver measurable results in terms of engagement, open rates, ticket sales, and other key performance indicators

Contribute to the overall success of the marketing team by collaborating effectively and sharing insights and best practices.
Additional Details

Part-time remote position as an independent contractor
-
Flexible-ish weekday work, with occasional weekend work as needed
-
Engaged attendance expected at set meetings; otherwise, meet your deadlines
-

90 Day probation period initial contract at 15 hours a week
-
A successful candidate will be offered an annual contract with updated work hours and compensation

Mandatory attendance at Roam Fest Fruita September 18-September 21, 2024 if/when successful candidate secures an annual contract

Compensation: $25/hour - $4,500 initial contract pay
